WBZ Boston interrupted their broadcast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS today, Thursday, July 24, to cover a severe weather situation. The station will air today’s Y&R episode in late night at 3:05am.
The Price Is Right Searches For Its Newest Model
CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT, television's longest-running game show, is launching a nationwide search for its newest model, Saturday, July 26, at the Brighton Summerfest in Detroit, Mich. WWJ-TV, the CBS-owned station in Detroit, will hold open auditions from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM in front of Mill Pond in downtown Brighton. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Details, applications, rules and eligibility information can be found at www.wwjtv.com.
Additional cities will be announced in the coming weeks. In September, one winner from each market will be chosen to come to Los Angeles and audition for the producers of THE PRICE IS RIGHT. The top five finalists from those auditions will each have the opportunity to appear on an episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT that will air October 20-24. Viewers will be able to vote online for their favorite finalist. The winner will be announced on air November 7 and appear on an upcoming week of shows.
